    Product Manager

    TCarta is a leading global provider of innovative geospatial products and Earth observation analysis services. We focus on providing customer focused solutions to solve challenging problems. Leveraging a history of providing bathymetric and seafloor mapping data for marine applications, TCarta now offers onshore and offshore geospatial solutions to meet the needs of all end user groups.

    TCarta is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a rapidly growing and new business line, in a key role with the potential for relocation to the Middle East should the business unit grow and be successful.

    About the role

    We seek an energetic and influential Product Manager to be in constant liaison with the sales and technical teams, driving and maintaining the product roadmap and all current and future development of our SaaS Geoportal platform.

    The successful applicant will be based out of our Bristol office, however with regular travel to the UAE (1 to 2 weeks per month) and will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes.


    • Proven and demonstrable experience in software product management

    • Provide leadership for individual contributors engaged in designing and developing software solutions

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all company stakeholders through sales, marketing and development

    • Understand root causes of problems and drive toward optimal solution

    • SAAS and Big Data experience a must

    • 5 years of experience in an enterprise, customer facing product management role

    • Knowledge and experience of the development process and software roadmap design

    • Experience in working with Middle East clients and running requirements gathering workshops at various levels from government entities to high net worth individuals

    • Communicating highly technical information to a non-technical audience

    Key skills:

    • Role model for all expected behavioural skills for piers and junior levels

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Numerate and can visualise the rough numerical answer rather than just calculate it

    • Anticipates client needs before they arise and presents solutions that encompass issues at hand

    • Confident and comfortable leading internal and external meetings and workshops

    An advantage to have but not essential:

    • GIS background

    • Experience of working with satellite imagery and remote sensing technologies

    Salary: Dependent on experience, up to £45k per annum

    Type of Contract:    Permanent

    Part/Full Time:        Full time, 40 hours per week

    Location:        Bristol UK, with regular travel to UAE (1-2 weeks per month)
