    10m Satellite Derived Bathymetry

This image was produced using our 10m Satellite Derived Bathymetry software and imagery data from the European Space Agency's Sentinel 2 satellite. It encapsulates an area of the Northwestern Red Sea, just off the coast of Egypt.

The northern part of the Red Sea has unique geographic attributes; being completely surrounded by deserts, it has almost no water input from rivers and hence very stable physical characteristics such as salinity, temperature and water quality. This combined with the clarity of the water and a weak tidal flow make it the perfect location for the collection of highly accurate data, at a 10m depth.
