    We are pleased to announce that Ross Smith, TCarta Technical Project Coordinator, will be speaking at this year’s Engage Americas.

    Engage is a prestigious event where industry leaders meet to discuss the latest development, changes in technology and network to collaborate on potential projects. The event takes place over two days from the 14th to the 15th August this year, and is developed and hosted by DigitalGlobe, a TCarta partner.

    Ross’s presentation will be focused on TCarta’s unique approach to littoral bathymetry mapping and developing a completely remotely-sensed capability for mapping shallow water areas. TCarta will also share some recent successes and partnerships.

    Ross Smith began his career in remote sensing and geospatial sciences  while serving as an infantryman and company intelligence support team leader during overseas duty with the US Army. After joining TCarta in 2017, Ross has transitioned into the role of Technical Project Coordinator,  where he facilitates bathymetric remote sensing research & development, and geoprocessing workflow enhancement. By leveraging multifaceted experience and innovative solutions to modern technological challenges, he seeks to keep TCarta on the cutting edge of satellite-derived data production, supplying superior content to support global applications.
